This exhibition echoes the landmark show of 1968, when the Cantini Museum first embraced photography with The Objective Eye. Since then, the institution has played a pioneering role, building a collection in dialogue with regional events like the Rencontres d’Arles and the Avignon Festival. Today’s works are drawn from the collections of the Cantini Museum, the [mac], and the Municipal Contemporary Art Fund — offering a rich diversity of perspectives, between legacy and creation.
